STATESVILLE — A "farewell social" was held Aug. 14 at St. Philip the Apostle Church in Statesville for parishioner Edgar Moises Noveron Palacios, who is leaving to begin seminary formation on Aug. 21 at Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio.
The parish's Family Life Committee and Spanish community organized the celebration.
Noveron is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Noveron and Rosa Maria Palacios. He also has twin sisters, Michel and Stephany.
