Celebrating Columbus Day at Our Lady of Grace

Piedmont Council 939 of the Knights of Columbus in Greensboro joined with Our Lady of Grace School in recently having students do reading assignments and artwork in recognition of Christopher Columbus' discovery of the New World.
Kindergarten to eighth-grade students did various projects to display their knowledge. Kindergartners sang a song about Columbus; second-graders created mobiles of the three ships; third-graders prepared a 3-D map and fact sheets; fourth-graders drew posters using their computer skills; fifth-graders prepared fact and opinion sheets from their research; and eighth-grade student Sean Farley created a poem about Columbus.
