Deacon named to serve Mooresville parish
MOORESVILLE — Deacon Robert Kratchman has been granted faculties by Bishop Peter J. Jugis to function in the Diocese of Charlotte.
He recently celebrated his 20th anniversary of ordination for the Archdiocese of Newark. He and his wife Joan have relocated to Mooresville from the Diocese of Trenton, N.J., via the dioceses of Venice and Naples, Fla.
He is formally retired from active assigned ministry but will help in his new parish of St. Thérèse as needed. He has a background in law enforcement.
