CHARLOTTE — Deacon William David Powers has been incardinated as a permanent deacon into the Diocese of Charlotte effective May 1, Bishop Peter Jugis has announced.
Deacon Powers is active in diaconal ministry at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Monroe and is vice president of the diocese’s Association of Deacons.
Prior to his service in the Charlotte diocese, he was ordained and served the Dio-cese of Arlington, Va.
