Bishop Jugis blessed each future priest's chalice which he will use at his first Mass on June 23. In the foreground are three kneelers that will be given to the new priests upon their ordination, a gift from Mary's Sons lay apostolate.

Bishop Peter Jugis led a Holy Hour June 20 at St. Patrick Cathedral for the three men being ordained priests for the Diocese of Charlotte. The men draped their vestments along the communion rail for the bishop to bless after the Holy Hour.
