RUTHERFORDTON — The Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Peace held the clothing ceremony for their postulant, Jennifer Walker, Sept. 29.
She received the habit of the community and a new name: Sister M. Regina. She is pictured (center) with Sister Gertrude Gillette (right) and Sister Scholastica Auguste (left).
The Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Peace, based in Rutherfordton, strive to live a communal life guided by the Rule of St. Benedict with an apostolic outreach.
