Serving Christ and Connecting Catholics in Western North Carolina

081817 vbsHUNTERSVILLE — Approximately 180 young people at St. Mark Church came together with adults and clergy recently for Vacation Bible School to deepen their knowledge of the Catholic faith.

The Vacation Bible School saw plenty of praying, dancing, singing, snacking and fun, but there was also an element of service.

Two hundred fleece blankets were made and donated to Levine Children’s Hospital and MiraVia. During the closing ceremonies, Father Noah Carter blessed the blankets in front of a packed gymnasium of children and their parents.
