HOBOKEN, N.J — Father Brian Sullivan, OFM Cap., a member of St. Matthew Parish in Charlotte, was ordained to the priesthood May 30 at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Hoboken, New Jersey, by Cardinal Sean O’Malley.
Father Sullivan, who often credits daily Mass at St. Matthew with helping him discern the brotherhood and priesthood, will be saying a Mass of Thanksgiving at 10:45 a.m. June 21 in St. Matthew Church. His new assignment, effective July 1, will be at St. Francis Church in Hackensack, New Jersey.
