CHARLOTTE — Each Thursday for the month of March, Our Lady of the Assumption School is highlighting a myriad of cultures and heritages during school Mass for their Multicultural Month Celebration.
On March 9, they acknowledged the Hispanic community. Students began Mass with a parade of Hispanic nations.
Students and adults dressed in traditional clothing and led a procession before Mass. Father Starczewski’s homily, partly in Spanish, emphasized the beauty of other cultures and the familial unity of our Catholic faith.
