CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Catholic High School students rallied around 15 student-athletes Wednesday as they signed commitments to play sports at a variety of colleges on “Signing Day.” Flanked by their families and coaches, the athletes dressed in shirts and colors of their soon-to-be colleges and smiled for cameras as they put pen to paper.
“We are a family here at Charlotte Catholic,” Athletic Director Kevin Christmas told the signees. “You are signing with your brothers and your sisters…I am so honored to have you, for your hard work, your dedication, your commitment, but most of all, for the way you represent Charlotte Catholic. You guys rock.”
