St. Michael the Archangel Parish located in Cary, NC seeks a full time Director of Hispanic Ministry (DHM). The DHM is a key member of the Pastor’s Leadership Team (PLT) and collaborates with the Pastor and Hispanic Ministry Staff Members in the areas of evangelization, discipleship, faith formation, sacramental preparation, ministry development, worship, and social outreach, including activities and events associated with these areas.

The DHM supervises the members of the Hispanic Ministry Office and meets regularly with them both individually and collectively. The DHM convenes the quarterly meetings of the Equipo Pastoral in order to discuss, coordinate and plan the events and ministries within Hispanic Ministry in the parish community.

The DHM must be an active, fully initiated and practicing Catholic who is committed to Intentional Discipleship. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish posses a Bachelor’s degree or higher in theology, catechesis, or related field, or equivalent experience. He or she should have strong abilities in project management, supervision of others, is collaborative and has exceptional verbal and written communication skills.   Candidates should have skills in MS Office, using A/V equipment and ability to become competent with the parish’s Realm database software.
