SWANNANOA — “Stop Human Trafficking – Learn and Take Action” is a free educational event starting at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at St. Margaret Mary Church, located at 102 Andrews Pl., Swannanoa. 

The event will begin with a sandwich lunch followed by a noon presentation by Tim Norris, board member of Project Light Rowan and a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Salisbury. The presentation will focus on sharing the realities of human trafficking in North Carolina and ways of stopping this horrific crime.
