CHARLOTTE — Learn more about protecting loved ones during “Much Closer Than You Think - Human Trafficking in North Carolina.” The free seminar will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, in the Banquet Hall at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Charlotte.
Professor Judith Paparozzi of UNC Pembroke will speak on the pervasiveness of human trafficking, how we can safeguard ourselves and our loved ones (including on social media), and how we can fight this exploitative social ill.
