HUNTERSVILLE — More than 740 parishioners of St. Mark Parish and friends – including Bishop Michael Martin – came together Aug. 1 to package 157,896 meals for Servants with a Heart. The meals were expected to be shipped to Cuba in early August. Father John Putnam, St. Mark pastor, reminded everyone why they had gathered as he blessed the meals, praying: “We give You thanks for the opportunity to put faith into action.”
